Journey

Journey

A Poem by Amanda
"

a collaborative poem by Matthew Carter and myself

"

Looking into the midnight sky
The swirl of clouds float slowly by
I wonder what the day will bring
But for right now, the night is ours....

As the sun sets amidst distant dimming horizons
We take this moment as the all and soar at great heights
The morrow still laying adjacent in thought
Yet now feels like evermore, the pure force of this love

The love we feel deepens with each passing day
Exquisitely ecstatic, spiraling upward toward the heavens
Reflections of the other dawns become a distant memory
Here is forever, eternally enraptured in this love

Emotions with courage, trust expand and grow
Language evolving with other minimalisms
Into lesser matters as hearts begin to know
Aware nesses rise of celestial voices as guidance, our light of hope
Now is forever, now is life, love, now, and is all
Now as one.

Amanda this is the best poem I've read so far and you have some amazing material. ARe you thinking about a book. Have I missed something? This piece is amazing. Now that is a poem. Who comes up with a wild, sexy powerful line this;
"Reflections of the other dawns become a distant memory
Here is forever, eternally enraptured in this love"
You! Amazing Standing "O" with fingers snaps and hi-fives. Thank you for sharing.

What a wonderful collaboration. It is usually difficult for two writers to combine styles into short poems and have it work well and have a nice easy transition but this piece had a wonderful flow to it. The imagery and word choice was especially wonderful.
It was a great read. :D and skillfully penned

You write so gracefully! I'm so jealous. A lovely collaboration. This whole poem is finely polished and smoothed. Its deeply spiritual, sensual and peaceful. Its so nice and refreshing, the writing style is, and really makes you smile, but think also. Great poem!

Never leave this moment, as it makes me never want to leave this poem. A righteous collaboration. Soothing and magical.

i love this writing.. its celestial and captures cosmic emotions as two hearts
entwining as one while looking at the moon .. as if two souls gazing into the night sky at the same time
feeling a connected energy..journey" is a fitting title for such a transpiring writing
that sets the readers thoughts to contemplate..capturing eternity in the moment..
beautifully envisioned .. words that soar through space and time. thanks for sharing
