Burning Wind

Burning Wind

A Story by Aukai
"

I would gladly turn to ash for any one of my brother.

"

Burning Wind

Rise with the day-again we walk

No faces new, nor need to talk

Walk!

The silence screams, a storm grows near

The cloudless shroud, raindrops of fear

Stop!

Lightning cracks, the tempest looms

As logic wilts and instinct blooms

Duck!

Some find shade, some bit by gust

Gone with the wind-red mist and dust

Fight!

No time for pain, no rights to wrong

Call forth your rain, storm back twice strong

Kill!

Burn fire with flame, your iron gale

This day now tame, yet far from stale

Reload!

When burden grows, the count is less

The honored few: a sleepless rest

Rest.

Rise with the day; who lay by choice

Stir up the winds, storm out their voice.

Walk...
