Our world stood still

A poem dedicated to Chama, who died yesterday, he'll be loved and missed.

For a moment, our world stood still.
Unchanged by outside means.
For a moment, we stood, with tears in our eyes.
Listening to passing cars.
As the world went on without us,
Our world stood still.
Unmoving, unchanging, because nothing mattered.
We stood united, at a death of a loved one.
Because for a moment, our world stood still.

In loving memory of Chama, Rest in Peace.
