A new Day

Darkness to the dawn of this day
The earth lightens to some new promises made
Will flow with the brook that sparkles with the vigor anew
Will sway to the song, which, the bushes hum the tune
A new morning, a brand new day, the dust on my books
Why do I need anybody today?
A quite solemn day I look forward to,
A kettle of tea, silently in my kitchen brews,
Whimpers about the crippled life abandoned
The escape , the freedom, I breathe today the fresh air new
