eternally

when love finds you, can it disappear too?

When love ends...

 

he walked

   into my life

i just stood

   and stared

he was everything

    i could think of

 

just as quickly

   as he lifted me to the sky

he left again

   leaving me to fall

i didn’t know what i would miss

   till he was gone

 

i loved him more

   than you could imagine

he was everything

   to me

i sat silently waiting

   for the guy next door

 

but he never came out

  and i was broken

only he could stitch up

   my heart again

life was changing

    for the worst

 

we were nothing

   i was no more

my lonely heart

  was totally broken

i lived out my days

  hiding in shame

 

he was gone

   i became nothing

i never saw

  him again

i stayed broken

   eternally.
