Sugar coated lives

Sugar coated lives

A Poem by faint smile
"

not everything is what it appears to be

"

vanille life, covered with cream

Its not what it always seems

on top the sprinkels, underneathe the lies

Layered to make us believe our lives

tears are forgotten,with sugar rain

chocolate thunder,rolls over  pain

marshmellow clouds,In a sea of blue

sugar-coated life, reveal the truth

it shows that people live behind facades. it may look like everything is peachy but there could be so much hidden like pain or death. excellent poem.

I enjoyed this one. It gave me the feeling of knowing that eating too many sweets will make one sick. Very nicely worded.
