listen closely these tender buds with leaves that shield careful for those winds that sow dreadful hints of miscontent why hesitate, must we wait
relax, all that glitters is not what you think you see
shimmering sparkles beyond the hue what makes us think we could taste and touch. look again at how they've moved faded even from our dismal view
whispers circle closer listen as they clamor their language unfamiliar we struggle most unexpectedly as rocks fill our open hands while water runs right through
is this all we're left here with these dreams that crumble inside the lines that hide these meanings, if we only knew
the red dawn drew away and left us gasping unlike before when hope surrounded and cups were full
the key, we need the key without it, we shall surely stall and into where, we cannot know
'Shadows Lurk'
Alisa Js,
I see the symbolic in this poem that one might expect in our dreams of the night.
This is taken a step further to show our need to dream to be motivated in the
hope of life-or plans. To dream awake or asleep is what can give us motivation,
gives us hope:
last stanza,
'the key, we need the key
without it, we shall surely stall
and into where, we cannot know
these dreams as ye untold...'

~ oh, this is epic work... it's like reading the secrets of the universe unraveling... i have always believed that poets are extremely perceptive and identify and define the intangible... you prove it with incontrovertible evidence in this piece... the key is really the key to it all... ~ exceptional work...
