Lost Footing

it happened without a sound

a step into another dimension

without a knock on the surface

of perception or rhyme

where do we go from here?

the love that I knew

never existed.

the you that I craved

vanished long ago

the 'we' that I believed in

left with the first fight

and I'm here with this lesson

of the mind.

stunned and stupified

and never even had a clue...
