Poverty

government spending billions,

for an army with 300 battalions,

while hunger spread in all nations,

what can a bullet do in this situations?

children are starving,

the old ones are suffering,

they are dealing hard with everything,

and the poor will die for nothing.

food is what the poor seeks,

their rights they wanted to fix,

war is not what they prayed for,

equality is what they are searching for.

where is the better future?

why are we heading towards this torture?

not just us but also the nature,

let us all pray to God our saviour.

Corruption is the problem and it is everywhere. The First World countries could quite easily end world poverty, but it will never happen because of the political corruption.
A very serious topic summed up very well.
