In a Writer's Pose

In a Writer's Pose

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

discovery at the cafe

"

In a Writer’s Pose

In a writer’s pose

unseated in words that reach beyond the measure,

dabbling in inconsistencies of virtue,

meandering in forests of darkness

where only the writer finds light

the Writer’s Cafe, a sip of coffee in the brew,

reading words that love the heart,

a table top for two,

a sadness in blue,

triggers that tickle the heart,

aiming for stars in a ruse,

trusting that unknown corner

where like minds sip

a nectar or two.

In this morning of the sweetheart I find Benita heavily dosed with a sugary prose. Thank You kind soul!

and the rhythm in
this poem.

Seems like this is food for the heart
food for the mind and soul and I
had a sip of coffee the
words were like
drinking a cup of tea.

i love this poem...there is so much inspiration to be found in a cup of poems on and in the cafe...

like minds sipping that thematic nectar, and releasing it with their pens into a blue sadness.

yep, it's like that.
