A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

prayer of the day

"

Hidden in Full View

After assuming a kneeling from battle
My limbs ease into the relief of silent prayer
Here in the vestibule of confession
I tell of the nothing causing despair
Upon hearing the imaginary other side of voice
I return to my hideaway staying the course!

yes, i love this poem because i relate...was raised Catholic...and as a kid i saw this...people would be so bad to others all week, go to confession, confess their sins, get absolution, have communion the next day, then go out and have a week just like all the others...treating other people unkindly....they stayed their course...and what did the words really mean when they said them?
dunno...

Thanks Paul!

I'm not religious either, spiritual, it lacks dogma.
