The Loss of Morning Mind

The Loss of Morning Mind

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Huh

"

The Loss of the Morning Mind

The cartoon of morning shivers across my mind
Shaking brisk, feeling the thaw of laughter,
I hesitate a bit longer in my pause
look around, smell, feel the quiet running along your skin
Ok! It’s time to roar like hell
and have your mind lose its own mind.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm morning bed ...so hard to got up sometimes ..this:
"look around, smell, feel the quiet running along your skin " would definitely keep me under the cozy a bit longer ... i especially like the roar .. maybe i will try it tomorrow morning ... risk a sound clobbering from my slumbering Norma ;) might be worth it tho..after all if i roar i would be the King of the Jungle right?!
fine read ..glad i did not miss it

I once wrote a poem or a line once (can't remember which) that said "When my thoughts run astray." Reminded me of that. It's kind of like that in the morning waking....little thoughts spark across one's mind, until we regain our senses. Good job ! Thanks for sharing!

' I hesitate a bit longer in my pause '

A romp of a thought-filled poem, metaphors sprinkled instead of rose petals. On your mark, get set... write!
