in the sound of it all

in the sound of it all

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

can you hear me now

"

in the sound of it all

as with voice so small
help seems a huge word
if i can call out to you
would the universe hear me

along sound’s path the velocity
of hearing causes tremors among
ear drums, anvil & hammer
silence waits as i wait
finally i can hear myself in
the melody of free speech

sometimes the sounds we hear can be a mystery after all. There are hidden messages in every sound if we try to analyze. But people have been busy with just living day by day that a lot tend to forget about simple things just like trying to decipher the message a sound can bring.

'.. would the universe hear me .. .. .. .. along sound’s path'

Tis said if you whisper loud enough, the right person will hear. Perhaps you've read the same words -(can't think where they come from) but make sense. As to the universe.. echoes bounce from all the right places, so again, who knows who they'll touch . And, as to free speech, it's only free before spoken aloud.. after than it costs to listen! Your words are ones to make the mind bend..
