Comic’s Land

Comic’s Land

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

come on jackson!

"

Comic’s Land

There is hope here

one wonders over to the side view mirror

jeep in motion

jackson, my dog, his head jutting out the open window

i glance, hope fills my cup, but it dosen’t run over

i’m waiting, still waiting, for jackson’s joule

to catch the wind and flap away to comic’s land

The most detailed & relatable snippet of doggishness I've ever read! There are so many of these antics that make me smile every day at my own dogs. But you managed to capture one particular & unusual observation in such an uninhibited & slowly-revealing way that makes it very fun to read! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
