ancient dream

ancient dream

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

awakening

"

ancient dream

i could smile without a face
hears whispers from far away place
see me in a dream, an ancient dream,
whereupon i walked into your arms
felt the tug of love’s sweet charm
but upon my real birth from where i came
i fell down in my new land
my rise be felled by this strange place
when i reach for my ancient dream
i feel as though heaven calls to me.

because that dream has passed to another place...but yes, it is still there. and you will realize it once again...in another life.

"i could smile without a face

Dreamy and magical words! As we grow older, a lot of our lives morph into dreams. Perhaps we edit them a bit, who's to say? There is a peaceful feeling to this one, Al. I liked it a lot. Lydi**
