A Toast to Us All

A Toast to Us All

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

drink up!

"

A Toast to Us All

gathered about in a panoply of things

a1 aides, lust in fine places, perhaps a swing of love

to calm the senses

an adirondack chair and feet in high places

the view of every exquisite locations

some popcorn and beer or was it said

i should drink champagne and rest all day in bed

I can taste the saltiness of popcorn, swathed in the sweet frothy foamy beer from up here, Al! Great writing as always!
