Lock and Bury

Lock all the pain away, and bury the key. Tell no one, and see what they see.

 

Go on with a smile on your face. Emptiness is what you embrace.

 

Tell everyone you are fine. When in truth the only thing that MIGHT be able to help is time.

 

Act like you're happy and no one will know, never look deep into your soul.

 

Wipe those salty tears off your eyes. Never reveal what's hidden inside.

Wow, your title matches exactly what your poem says. I haven't seen many that follow their title. I think this is a wonderful poem!
