I changed too.

my brother catches me off guard alot.:D

When we were little,

We were so tight,

You were my best friend,

Thats damn right.

 

 

 

Time passed on,

And we grew up and appart,

That was the begining of something new,

Were our new relationship did start.

 

You changed your choice in music,

Your clothes changed,

The time we spent together,

Was not alot, in fact it ranged.

 

You have friends now,

But I still need you,

Your busy though,

So what did i do?

 

I changed too.

 

The clothes got tighter,

My inspiration was distance,

My hair got shorter,

There was no resistance.

 

The eyeliner got darker,

My attitude was mean,

My favorite color went from blue,

To neon green.

 

I wanted your attention,

I wanted my bestfriend,

I needed your love,

I thought it was the end.

 

You have friends now,

But I still need you,

Your busy though,

So what did i do?

 

I changed too.

 

I depend on drugs now,

My depression has me confused,

Im begging for help,

But mom refused.

 

Your opinions still mean something,

But where were you then,

Now you want to help?

You want to try again?

 

Your my big brother,

I needed you,

Im grown now,

So heres what ill do.

 

I still need you,

I want our better times,

We shouldnt be so bitter,

Acting like lemons and limes.

 

Im a woman now,

That doesnt change things though,

You chose your path,

Drugs are on my road on which i go.

 

Your as straitedge as it comes,

I live not so clean,

You still can help,

But dont be so mean.
