Buried Within

Buried Within

A Poem by Sarah Roehrig
"

This poem describes the confusion the external epidermis has on us

"
Somewhere buried within, there lies my deepest sacrament

A soul full of life, lost in a world of sin

I hold my breathe, for the elixir of time is filled with the blood and greed of my kin

I bury my palms deeper into the ground and hide behind my skin

For the truth is breathing through us, and has been silenced once again
