Why I Write

I write to remember every small memory.
To remember our losses and victories.
To remember what brings us joy and what brings us down.
To remember who we are together.
I write to inspire,
And in hopes of one day that my words will really matter.
For when someone listens without speaking.
I write for those who care to listen.
Even if they don't care to listen, I write because it matters to me.
Writing creates the person I am.
Release the never ending energy that takes control of my mind.
Threatening everything that I've built or,
To create something entirely new and beautiful.
I write because every word is music.
Changing our moods with every detail
Shifting with every word
Consuming who we are and changing our understanding of everything put before us.
I write because that's just who I am.
I write to create a story for someone who just needs someone to care.
Even the simplest words can change everything or,
It could change nothing.
Writing shows everything in deeper detail
Drawing you in to fall in love
Or to hate.
Never,
Is something more beautiful
than what your mind creates on it's own.
Our minds are its own art,
Let it show you what you can do.
I write because it's an outlook to the chaos that surrounds us,
Not everyday is a walk in the park
But a dark tunnel that seems never ending
And I'm just waiting for the light to appear.
I write to wish
To pray.
To wish for the things we cant have
To pray for forgiveness and thanks.
I write because we only live once,
And we have one life,
To make a difference.
