REMOVING THE VEIL

REMOVING THE VEIL

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Beneath the surface
Scratching in the dark,
The truths are to be found
Where lies leave their mark.
For woven together
Their fabric is formed
Where lies are weathered
And truths are torn.
And by removing the veil
Lying side by side
Truths will be revealed
Where lies cannot hide.
So the strength of lies
Just tumble and fall.
But maybe what were deceptions
Were truths never told;
Just thoughts never shared
To be found rather than told.
