My Lake

My Lake

A Poem by andrew mitchell

My Lake, my thoughts
Governed by seasons.
Autumn:   Dark, murky thoughts, red. coppery, brown.
               Falling, disposable, finished.
Winter:    Cold, icy, frozen are my thoughts
              Sometimes melting, flowing
               But joined as one.
Spring:     Wild, passionate, excited my thoughts
               Burning. buzzing, harmony as one.
Summer:   Dry are my thoughts, scorched,
               Baked by the sun.
               Dried of life.

My Lake, my thoughts
Ever changing, never still
Governed by seasons
A test of wills.

Spring sounds exciting! Hopefully you can bottled up some spring to prepare for summer.

Thank you RomaJ
Tough it is your winter and now our turn for some decent weather! Another interesting expression of perceptions in verse Andrew as you explore constructs of the seasons.

PS do you have a production line?
