Do you see what I see?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While you only saw
what you chose to see,
you only saw me

Touche! Double "Poker-Faces"! Cleverly written and so ironic...two people in a relationship, still hiding from each's all in the perception and the presentation of self. Kudos!

All parties bring what they choose to, to all interactions.
This recalls the song 'Windmills of my mind' to me A.M.

I love pushing the limits on writing poetry. Not everyone's cup of tea but maybe a few will enjoy the twists and turns, the simple, the depth of simplicity, the bizarre and the ridiculous. Strindberg.. more..
