Not one noticed, I arrived so quickly then I was ....gone.

Not one noticed, I arrived so quickly then I was ....gone.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Not one footprint, mine
has left its mark
to be remembered
permanently.

Just for
a moment
was I placed.

Stepping out,
I walked outside my shadow.

I really like this. For me, it echoes human obsession with significance, which in our materialistic culture, is rather superficial. Who knows.....the true purpose may be waiting somewhere - a window of opportunity, which may be just a few minutes long/wide, which will define our purpose, if only we can learn to "walk outside" our shadows.
