Confused don't be!

The writing on the wall
was not in the papers
nor as a message,

And the obvious goes unseen, or ignored outright. Profound and thought-provoking poem. Eloquent words, great theme, flow and cadence. Great!

hmmmmmmmmmmmm "....yet was there." ... first line works ... it still holds depth and meaning ... and of course the papers wouldn't cover it ...duh! love this thought provoking little poem .. challenges me to see the truth that sometimes lies hidden in plain sight

I love pushing the limits on writing poetry. Not everyone's cup of tea but maybe a few will enjoy the twists and turns, the simple, the depth of simplicity, the bizarre and the ridiculous. Strindberg.. more..
