Under your spell of dilation.

Under your spell of dilation.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Under your spell of dilation
I spy with my little eye
floating in your autumn browns
you blinked;
falling into your dilated abyss
where all your shadows hide,
lost I felt
those eyelashes brushing
a dream to my reality of senses
awakening to a world that flutters by,
I decided to follow your mascara running
hanging off your eyebrows raised.

how wonderful to get lost in another's eyes,...even if it is for a moment...wonderful to be all that another sees...the only world...
