In a world of blank!

In a world of blank!

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

"
Having lived
in the world of living
I could not live
in the world of blank.
I would need a pencil.

Imagine
a world of blank,
blank faces
blank people,
blank skies,
blank books,

Yes in a world
covered by blank
I could only stare at its pages.

Too young to die in aged care.

Aged care for the most part is exactly as you so cleverly describe in your pofound poem. As a nurse, I know it well. It serves a purpose and it helps some, but it is not dignified, humane or inspiring. I agree with your poem. I pray that we all have better choices.
