Hello Mr String!

Hello Mr String!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Having left the courtroom
Mr String was tied down
by the media watchdogs.

Mr String! Are you of good fibre?
Get knotted!

Mr String! Are you really twisted?
Get knotted!

Mr String! How are your ties?
Get knotted!

Mr String! Are you highly strung?
Get knotted!

Mr String! Where did you put the puppets?
Get knotted!

Mr String! When will you tell us how long you really are?
Get knotted!

Well there you have it.
Will Mr String cut loose,
and tell us his length of the story?

This is the BBC reporting
and it’s back to the newsroom.
Thank you Miss Rope.

Okay! Swinging to the weather now!
Hello Mr Scissors!

And the humourous satire returns!

I actually went to school with twins with the surname of Rope!

Another witty piece of writing. So many twists and turns of the string. Nicely done.
