where dreams meet the roads of reality ...internal bruising and unfortunately lots of road rash too :( and when it all happens in the same "can" ...the tragedy is more ironic ... maybe that's where "moronic" comes from bruahahahaha! ..we inflict ourselves with cycles of brutalities in guilt, lost opportunities, love, pain, insecurities .......... oh my ....... i am so thankful for making it to "old age" where one can give not one once of a sh@@$%#! and live in blissful oblivion :) lots to ponder when reading your poem Andrew .. good stuff as always

Perhaps we need a mental shaking now and again. Need find a new perspective on what's going on around us. find motivationtion to see the truth.. to act on it rather than bury head in sand. There needs be a time when the head, the mind.. body along, can be switched to sleep mode.. right or wrong it can release some mini devils.. can.. do what ... has been done.. Your poem is so sad.. or have my thoughts made it like that.. Carefully excpressed..

We so often agree,, which is what life is all about or should be.
We do escape reality to find a bright spot, to start a fresh start and to enjoy the otherworldly. Some escape to disengage, others to connect. I connect with your poetry.
