Which one are you?

Which one are you?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Of the three birds flying
which one will die?

In the un- mortared wall
which rock will fall?

While certainty looming
casts its shadows,
uncertainty lies within -
an unmarked grave
unfilled, open,
just waiting.

This one, using unique imagery, points up a fact we're all aware of, but seldom consider: nothing is really certain. Of course, if we read this offering every morning, we'd be afraid to leave the house. Well done.
