It was a peculiar thought, come to think of it!

Everyone thinks they're normal

so where do peculiarities

come from?

When everything was going fine,

then unexpectedly....

I'm introduced to

peculiarities 

that are not similar

to mine!

Is a peculiarity 

a characteristic

or a hand me down

from the hereditary chain?

I thought I was weird,

but you're weird!

but thought others normal
