Despicable man.

Despicable man.

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

The post war days of Bosnia and 2.5 million young girls are trafficked every year today sold as sexual slaves that could be your own children. Yet Governments do nothing, they are not their children.

"
The atrocities of man,
the cruelty of man
was noted in the exploitation
in human trafficking
where young girls
are sold as sexual meat
only to be rid of violently
if they talked,
while those involved in United Nation forces
support such corruption involved themselves
covering for those in the top brass hierarchy.

Those mothers and fathers
lost innocent children
as the beasts of humanity abused, tortured and killed
while having their own children not knowing
of their vile practices.

What God creates man to
inflict cruelty on all living creatures?
What God would allow this?
We are all a failure in the cruelty
we inflict on life
and our reluctance to do nothing
is nothing but shameful.

We do not deserve to live!

A hard-hitting diatribe against the insensitivity, indifference and apathy of humankind. The sheer avarice which operates on every level, met with no curbs or control is baffling. Your poem captures that bafflement. A timely write.

Well argued, Andrew.
