When a frozen moment is triggered.

When a frozen moment is triggered.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Frozen memories
melt on the
glacial mind
while time’s avalanche
erases all thoughts,
some slide down
into the crevasse lost
snowed in, hibernating,
only to be remembered
when someone else
pulls the trigger
while feeling cold.

This is a well-crafted extended metaphor & I love how it perfectly describes that frozen moment we all recognize so well. Good job using lots of dynamic verbs to bring the sensations alive as everything tumbles inside! *smile* Fondly, Margie
