I am what I am!

I am what I am!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Who am I?
I am
what I am,
therefore I am,
but am I yours?
Maybe yours truly!
But I am
what I am,
so who are you?
Are you what you are,
or are you what I am?
The realism of being
“ I am.”
In time I was
what I was,
to some a somebody,
to the masses
I could be anybody!

Hmmmmm..this is a very esoteric and existential poem Andrew. Thought-provoking to say the least. Love the clever wordplay and twists and turns of this self- assessment gone rogue. Now I’m totally confused! If a tree falls in the forest......? Hmmmmmmm.

You questioning you made me ponder on me. All I can say is I am not what I was. I am now me. I think you can tie yourself up in knots when you do too much thinking. This was fun to read and fun to ponder on.
