A mind invasion!

A mind invasion!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Dialing 000
Police!
Yes!
I like to report a mind invasion.
Yes!
Someone has planted thoughts into my head.
What seeds of thoughts?
Yes!
How terrible! How many?
Lots and I can't get them out.
Have you tried shaking your head?
Yes! No good I'm afraid.
They are still there.
What do you advise?
I think Sir, you should
pop down the road to
a place called  the Well-Being of Mind.
They have all sorts of remedies
like thoughticides, nightmareicides,
memoryicides, and even
mindicides which is a potent one.
You come out like a zombie.
So good luck!
Thank you Officer.
Don't mention it!
They'll have you
coming out brand new
fresh as a dead daisy.

Interesting poem. Reminds me of aliens somehow.

A very interesting concept Andrew. And funny too. Reminded me in some way of Dr. Walter J. Freeman, the infamous lobotomy doctor in the last century. Enjoyed! :)
