Andrew,
Nice meditation on time and the human condition . . . caught in the act of (perhaps) wasting, killing, ignoring time itself. All the while time was mocking us . . . taking away our moments on earth one second at a time. Clever last stanza . . . Time is relentless!

This kinda tangled up my mind! The title got me going in a different direction, a political one. But as I read on, I find non-stop surprising everything. Your profile starts out: "I love pushing limits" . . . whenever I read a profile like this, I am skeptical. But in your case, very true. This poem deserves extra time to allow your ideas about "time" to sink in & percolate (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
