The Labyrinth of My Mind

The Labyrinth of My Mind

A Poem by Amanda J. S.
"

...

"

The mind has its own ways

Of showing how to praise

Praise life and love

And any of the other above.

My mind is not that assessable

It is thoughts incompressible

Sometimes filled with delight

But mostly brimming with raging voids of sorrow

Threatening to ignite.

Some days

It has its ways

Of making me confused

That or bemused.

My mind is complicated like a maze

Always leaving me in this confused haze:

“Why can’t I just figure this out

And just get it out with a shout?”

You have to understand

That even though most view it as bland

My mind has its own will

Always threatening to spill

Out all the crazy

I have until now kept lazy.

You have a very beautiful writing style. It was very thought provoking indeed. I agree that it is sometimes hard to keep you mind intact and on track! Keep writing! I would love to read more from you.

Very thought provoking write. I really relate to most you have expressed here, the mind threatening to spill over it's crazy! I loved that. You have explored the dark hallways of your mind with grace and precision, accurately capturing the enigma of consciousness that lives in our heads, a fascinating thing that no one truly understands...

Sometimes filled with delight
But mostly brimming with raging voids of sorrow
Threatening to ignite.

I really adored that part. This was a delightful read, and so well written. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent! Oh, I really, really like this... on so many levels. You are seeing with "clear sight", my dear. The universal mind has deigned to caress you once again. Walk with humble pride in your revelations.

Some rhymes feel forced, but I got your message just fine. No one can quite define their own thoughts.
