teenageA Poem by Aman Singh “TEEN AGE ......
Let the life flow in its own way, For the path which
they ponder upon us, don’t let us see the day break We are mere humans, trickeries and treason is our social
attribute, To die till the day we actually die, Has become our soul motive. Those days won’t last forever, A penny for our thoughts. If they are so priceless, Then why waste a penny on those. We are limited to our own humble hamlet. And yet we seek redemption, from this life. Take a mournful sigh, and think of your regrets. Conflicts, feuds, strife, and war, We are on the brink of extinction from our very souls. Shouldn’t the seed
decide, that what flower it should bloom? But alas! Its fate already emphatic, long before it was
born. A hope is not now necessary, for a hearty smile, Only endless suffering can end this harsh time. The bonds so made and the bonds so broken, have no ideals in
this world of torment. Stories so valant, and myths so majestic. They fill up our hearts, and later leave us tormented. They see that it is one’s duty to not to feel pain, It symbolises true power, One which cannot be attained. And the warrior I filled with tears, tears of his absolute
failures. But they don’t listen, for the pain is gone in despair. Haunts of nightmares, and thoughts of failures, Cling like a moth on warrior’s thoughts. Since he is the warrior, he feels no emotions. Sick of the eyes, haunting him at every sight, And sick of the lies, which surround him at each divide. Do they listen to their heart beat, which beats of a vision? This is the TEEN AGE ....... the age which initiates the
RAGE ......... and makes binds is in a cage. © 2014 Aman Singh |
