Onerous

Onerous

A Poem by ambur

onerous and permissive; let's play on lies.
a simple ballet of out numbered excuses.
if hopeless had a second nature, you'd be it.
people never change, seasons slowly fade,
and time ticks away blurred memories.
Playful laughs and hard coming tears,
ruining lives and bashing thoughts;
you're a pathetic excuse, and I'm through.

nice ---> "if hopeless had a second nature, you'd be it."

This doesn't seem quite finished though, as if it is calling out for one more line.
