Symphony in Sunrise

Symphony in Sunrise

A Poem by Avocations of Amber
"

Sometimes the most beautiful time of day is in the early morning. The skies are blistered with pinks and yellows and everything begins to awaken. It's a time of tranquility...just my coffee and I.

"

Cresting clouds in painted pearl

Glazed in lemon-lighted sun

Fractured skies in techni-color

Blaze through woven rainbows spun

Hear the fanfares of the dawn

Nature rising from its rest

Flowers raise their heads in honor

Of the day, a timeless guest

Treasure troves in blues and greens

Waterfalls which whisper white

Evergreens of emerald essence

Bathing in the morning's light

Sun-kissed skies turn tickled pink

Orchestra for sea and land

Sing your scintillating lovesong

Turned on by the Master's hand

Author's Note

Avocations of Amber
I tried writing this poem in quatrains of 7-7-8-7 in regards to syllable counts.
Punctuation is never important to me in my poems......so hopefully I won't offend anyone by leaving it out.

Outstanding piece and flow of imagery! The visions embrace the reader with a sensory feeling of joy and happiness, contentment and exuberance! The amount of color you wove into this piece is amazing. I think that is the best part of the poem in my opinion, as it was the piece hues and shades of brilliance that really brought everything in such a fine masterpiece of ink. Excellent Poem!

-- eloquently beautiful poem, this takes me far away, imagining standing on a mountain
with slight chill in the air while the sun warms my face. -- great use of imagery and fluidity. this is a great poem!
