it's a long story

I was a vegetarian
nearly half my life,

I woke up one day
and had a dragon
for breakfast.

That was the day
you realized
I had checked out.

That was some breakfast. Sometimes something changes in a relationship and one side doesn't notice until you eat the dragon. Those flames burn hottest.
