Gossamer love

what love is and isn't

there is no
such thing
as love
without strings
but they don't
have to be
the kind that bind
and constrict,
made by man
and sanctioned by
a man made god --
let our love
be tethered
by nature
and not design,
gossamer strings
beautiful,
flexible and strong --
ephemeral yet
resilient,
a bond
as God intended
it to be.
