soliloquies aside

soliloquies aside

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

a stray thought that entered uninvited -- reference to Shakespeare, Merchant of Venice

"
soliloquies aside,
when mercy is undeserved
the quality of it
is irrelevant.

Author's Note

Lyn Anderson
I was listening to the radio the other day. Homolka found once again --
and the interviewer who wouldn't out her because of her kids --
my heart goes out to those kids. And to the families of her victims,
whose kids will never have kids because of her and her
first husband Paul Barnardo

Thank you. It was but an angry thought that I managed to bottle and bring here.
I am speechless with this. It is so powerful how you have done this. Your poem is amazing in and of itself, but when I watched the video...I just don't even know how to express the sick gut it gives me. Combined - your words and the video - they speak so loudly. What is wrong with people! What causes such sick, twisted, casual cruelty?!!! Just amazing, tragic, sick and so very, very twisted.

And she is still out there....with children! Very scary.
The thing is for mercy to be relevant ... it is the receiver that must feel it deserved. The sad but true secret of redemption. A thinker, KL:)

Yeah well, the subject needs a good branding, unfortunately her children will become branded too.

Despite from the actual topic, it is a short but very well-written piece of writing.

Yes, it is disturbing.
I'm not really familier with this story,
And being at work (Reception desk day. Not bar,) I can't really open the video.
Some clarification would be cool!

Now Homolka lives happily with a husband and two kids, like it never happened.
