Power of Another

Power of Another

Judging is wrong

Gossiping is worse

Knowing I'm hated for no reason,

Leaves me wondering how ignorance sleeps at night.

All recognize the bully

Never succeeding in the end.

Their rude comments and shoving…

Thumping impulses rush my veins.

But I will not shove back.

Instead I inhale the tension, then gnaw at my lip.

Exercising my fingers to fists.

I can't help but laugh out-loud..

Shielding from their insecurities.

Later in life their group divides.

Each noticing loss of intimidation.

In the end I have risen above

These maggots falling beneath conformity.

I'm still laughing my a*s off.
