Still with you.

Still with you.

A Poem by Imperfection
"

I wrote this Senryu after we parted ways amicably. I would have preferred not to but thats what was required of me then. Now I live with thoughts of him.

"

The end of this road

Is not a new beginning...

...for I still love you.

Beautiful senryu !
I really loved this one....too emotional and painful indeed.
I know it is damn hard to close a chapter in your life and even to carry on , pretending that nothings ever went wrong..
Great write :)

But it's not like that...
You always know what you have, you just never thought you would lose it" :)

-Sigh- It's so tough sometimes to be haunted by thoughts of someone you love when you know you shouldn't. Best of luck to you when it comes time to cleanse this wound and thank you for submitting to my True Talent contest.

All of these are so powerful, and so self blaming. Rain..

Never really tried reading or writing much senryu, so I guess I can't judge you on what you have done. It's powerful, but I think you could be even more powerful fi yopu used different words. Again, I do not know the style that follows Senryu, so I can't judge. Keep writing, and best of luck

This is so awfully sad. Just mournful. It takes a broken heart to feel that much love after starting over and it breaks my heart for you, having been there myself. Very powerful write considering it's full of so much using so few words. Very well done piece.

How difficult it is to close a chapter of your life. I tried for many, many years and simply could not. I wondered 'what if' for one too many years. In my life, I moved on but my heart lingered. Now almost a decade later, I was finally able to say good-bye and move on. I was finally able to close that chapter of my life. The end of the road finally came, and a new beginning has come. Sometimes it takes a minute, other times it takes a lifetime. But in the end, it only makes you stronger. Good luck in your quest to arrive at the end of the road, and start a new beginning.
