Dawn

Dawn

A Poem by Amy D. Brooks

The evening came and went,
And I survived.
The darkness fell over,
But I rolled the stars away,
I painted the morning,
I made it through the night,
And was the first to see the dawn.

Short , but lingering?. It make me think what the battle was the needed to be survived if any? I like it. Points for making me imagination run.

You painting your mornings
Yor future and life
Not always the colors will be bright
Sometimes the night will send some black line
Maybe to remind you that after a long day
There will come the night again ,
With long good sleep,
Calm and relax lil girl
Your life is just waiting for you behind the corner
Be good and pick your morning with Joy
That's real love
That's your new Dawn

:-) .... love you
