A NEW DAY

A NEW DAY

A Poem by Amy
"

There is always hope...

"

Indeed it is amazing;

The break of each day

How the morning wakes,

The fresh breeze of the morning

Just when the rain has finished pouring

With the skies seeming bluer than blue

And birds singing tunes

In praise of their maker

Life might seem unfair;

Totally merciless

A cross; too heavy to bear

A weak heart; a bad omen

A robber of true happiness

Eating away the strong

Reducing a once productive life

Pushing down the joy of many

With each struggle to breathe

And every fight for survival

With each prayer said for revival

And every chance to live

 Waking up to a new dawn;

Is a rare miracle

Each new day

Come with hope of having a pleasant sail

Abroad and across life’s bay

But like a ship on a full sail,

Challenges will come anyway

Like a hard wind that causes a boat to sway

Faint not; fret not

Fear not; despair not

Hold on and have hope

For always with a new morn’

There is a new song.
