i hope you haven't gone.

while i'm fairly certain that you haven't,

i'll admit your absence has me worried.

for you to suddenly disappear like that?

well, it's unnerving

if i'm to be completely honest.

and yet,

at the same time

i fully understand.

but do come back

if not just for a visit.

I can completely relate to this.... it left me for 4 years.. this strikes a chord with the reader.. very articulately expressed, hope that it will visit you soon, I know there will be more to come.
