Big Brother

Big Brother

A Poem by Angel

The opaque breath of time lingers

As bulky images of you take flight.

Blue pillars of soft sadness lined up

Build the iron house of your memory.

Raging battles among then and now

Consumes the context of my brain.

Bitterness immerses itself deep in me

As home movies play out in my head.

Movies of you caring tenderly for me

Before I knew you were about to leave.

I know I couldn’t have changed you

But I would have liked to understood.

I miss you, big brother.

The sadness in this is deep and it shakes me to the core, it's almost overwhelming.

This write is beautiful and amazing....it almost leaves me completely speechless, and I really can't find any more words to describe it.....

Beautiful work.
