Footprints On The Beach

Footprints On The Beach

A Poem by Angel Bluestocking

I stand beside
Your last footprints,
Wondering;
Where did you go?

I hear
The mourn of birds.
And see
A figure
Beyond the blue,
Blue sea.

I squint
My eyes
Figuring
"Who?"
Who could it be?

And it was you
Waving goodbye
So early
And why?

I stand beside
Your last footprints
Wondering,
Where did you go?

Sad, and it's hard when you have to wonder why did they go and where.

This has a sad feel to it, saying goodbye is hard to do, especially when you don't know why.
